Storage Rates by Overall Length
Storage rates are based on your vehicle's complete stored length. Measure from the furthest point in front to the furthest point in back, including the trailer tongue, motor, swim platform, ladders, racks and other attachments.

Storage Information
Answers to common questions about indoor storage.
What is the difference between monthly and prepaid storage?
Monthly storage offers greater flexibility and requires automatic monthly payments. Customers must provide 30 days' notice before moving out.
The prepaid option includes 12 months of storage for the price of 10. The full amount is paid before move-in, and the storage rate remains fixed for the 12-month contract term.
How do I request a storage space?
Select Get Started and provide your contact information, boat or RV details, complete measurements and preferred move-in date.
Our team will review the request and respond within two business days. If an appropriate space is available, we'll send the storage agreement and a link to pay the $50 reservation fee. Your reservation is confirmed after the agreement and payment are received.
How should I measure my boat or RV?
Measure the complete space your vehicle will occupy, from the furthest point in front to the furthest point in back.
Include the trailer tongue, outboard motor, swim platform, ladders, spare tires, racks and other attachments. We also require the vehicle's overall width and height so we can confirm that it can safely enter and fit within the facility.
Final dimensions will be verified at move-in.
What if the vehicle is larger than the measurements I submitted?
If the vehicle is larger than reported, the assigned space and storage rate may need to change. If an appropriate space is not available, we may be unable to accept the vehicle.
When can I access my boat or RV?
Customer access is available by scheduled appointment. Storage customers do not have independent or unscheduled access to the facility.
Available appointment windows and advance-notice requirements will be provided when your storage reservation is confirmed.
What happens at move-in?
We'll schedule a move-in appointment after your storage agreement, reservation fee and required initial payment are complete.
At arrival, staff will verify the vehicle's dimensions, document its condition with photos and confirm its assigned storage location.
Do you accept boats or RVs longer than 70 feet?
Vehicles longer than 70 feet may be considered based on available space, overall dimensions and maneuvering requirements. Submit your complete measurements and we'll confirm fit and pricing.
Am I responsible for insuring my boat or RV?
Customers are responsible for maintaining appropriate insurance coverage for their boat or RV and its contents while stored at the facility. Lake Tapps Boat & RV Center does not provide insurance coverage for customer property.
How do I cancel monthly storage?
Monthly customers must provide at least 30 days' notice and schedule a move-out appointment. Storage charges continue until the vehicle is removed and the account is paid in full.
